Description
I always feel "uplifted" when I watch birds.
A new study conducted by German researchers found that hearing and seeing birds can increase overall life satisfaction.
The red-crested cardinal is a songbird, the species belonging to the family of tanagers. Notwithstanding its similar name, this bird is not closely related to the true cardinal family. It is sometimes known as the Brazilian cardinal. This species is native to South America, but was introduced to the Hawaiian Islands around 1930. In Hawaii, these birds prefer parks, lawns and dry thickets.
