About Debra Banks

Debra Banks

My soul is full of longing for the secret of the sea, and the heart of the great ocean sends a thrilling pulse through me. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow In one drop of water are found all the secrets of all the oceans. Kahlil Gibran The ocean is my passion. I can spend hours just observing its many forms; drawn to its beauty, serenity, calmness, chaos, power and its ever changing colors, shapes and textures. I hope my photography conveys to you, if not all, at least a fraction of the emotion and the spell it has cast over me. The Natural World comes in a close second; landscapes, trees and flowers in all their simplicity, yet intricate and complex beauty. Then everything else!
