Description
Leonardo da Vinci said: “Water is the driving force of all nature"
"My river runs to thee: Blue sea, wilt welcome me? My river waits reply. Oh sea, look graciously! I ’ll fetch thee brooks From spotted nooks,— Say, sea, Take me! " Emily Dickinson
This image captures that statement. A large tidal pool behind me, shows the ebb and flow, and driving force of the water from the ocean to the pool, and then from the pool to the ocean. The water carving out a deep channel that connects them both.
Perspective of Leading lines (linear) appear in this photograph, purposefully framed and positioned to draw the viewer's eye towards a specific point (or more) of interest. These lines often draw the viewer's eye in a specific direction or towards a designated portion of the photograph. The photo was taken as close to the level of the water as possible.
The snow to the right is a dramatic contrast with the blue water and sky and golden sand.
